what to expect
where are you located?
I currently live in Vermont on our 37 acre homestead in the Northeast Kingdom! We moved to Vermont in Spring 2022 – looking to hire me for your wedding in California or somewhere outside of Vermont? Contact me to talk travel expenses, i’m always happy to travel to photograph your love wherever you’re located.

we’re having a destination wedding, what are your travel packages like?
I LOVE to travel & I offer limited dates for destination weddings outside of my home state of Vermont every year! If you’re planning a destination wedding or elopement i require a round-trip plane ticket from BTV, a rental car & two nights in a hotel or similar accommodation! Contact me to chat about your destination wedding!

do you offer location suggestions?
I sure do & I encourage leaning into getting to be a bit adventurous with where we go for our session together. I’m not your typical photographer & I don’t want you to have typical photos. I want your memories to be memorable, I want to take you to places off the beaten path, the places you won’t find in a google search. iIve hiked, explored & adventured all over the place to find epic destinations that you will love creating photos in & I’m excited to share them with you. I get to be your guide & you get to trust in me to guide you.

i feel awkward in front of the camera...
You are not alone! It’s super normal to feel uncomfortable about being in front of a camera. I confidently hold space for you to relax & let go of these inhibitions – for us to work well together, its important that you trust me to hold space for you. You get to be open to stepping into this vulnerable place, we get to be present capturing the moment together, I got you.

how long until we receive our finished gallery?
This depends! Generally for families/portraits/couples (any session 1-2 hours long) my turn around is 2-3 weeks. Weddings are generally 8-10 weeks. June-September, you can expect your gallery closer to the 10 week mark as this is “wedding season” & I’m generally super busy.

Do you help with planning?
Absolutely, yes! we get to create a collaborative experience together. I want to make your photographic dreams come true & I get to be your guide in making it happen. From lighting to vendor recommendations, locations & timeline planning, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Please don’t hesitate to ask for my support!

What if my kids are acting wild?
Let them be wild. To capture the authenticity of every moment is a beautiful dance of letting go & being present. When I show up for our photo session together I'm not expecting perfect & neither should you. Give yourself the permission to get messy, to be unorganized. Let your kids be who they are & I promise you’ll love every moment captured – the silly, the quirky, the wildly & authentically you. These are the moments you get to cherish.

How many images can we expect?
For weddings, I deliver approx. 100 images per hour of documenting (i.e. 8 hour wedding = approx. 800 images). You can expect around the same amount per hour session give or take a handful (often times more). There are so many beautiful moments, I try to include them all.

to capture you in the most authentic way, its important that you are present & open to being a bit vulnerable. Know that you are perfect exactly as you are – forget about your windswept hair, dirty feet as we adventure through the landscapes of our time together. Just sink into each moment of the here & now. Your trust is the key to unlocking real memorable moments.
