meet erica

You want to work with me because: i care about the details in-between the details, the small miraculous moments, true & authentic connection. You value art & the creative process. You desire a compilation of images that tell your story.. You cherish the tangible & you are intentional about your own creation in this life.

Most importantly, you want to work with me because my art speaks to you, it calls you in & you are here because you feel connection within what i create.

New england documentary photographer

my style of photography

timeless, playful, nostalgic

i put an emphasis on connection with every person who stands in front of my lens. I am your guide when you need guidance & a silent observer during the moments that are meant to be left to unravel on their own.

erica's  story

I’ve always been the girl with a camera.

The one who lingered a little longer.
Who noticed the way light spills across a room - Who felt something sacred about the in-between moments no one else thought to name.

I’m Erica, the artist behind Luna Munn photography and I create from a place rooted deeply in human connection. For me, connection isn’t an accessory to the art. It is the art. It’s the foundation of how I see, how I feel, and how I connect.
My approach is documentary at heart: observant, intuitive, and present. I move through a wedding day like a quiet witness with a friend’s heart. A voyeur in the gentlest sense — close enough to feel it all, but never interrupting what wants to unfold naturally. I believe the most meaningful photographs are the ones that are allowed to happen, not forced into existence.

Presence is everything to me.
To be connected.
To witness life as it is.

i’ve been documenting life since I was a young teen... long before I knew it would become my work. There has always been something holy to me about freezing time. About returning memories to the people who lived them.

This is more than photography.
It’s preservation.
It’s presence.
It’s remembering.

And it would be an honor to witness your story.

I value getting to be a record keeper of life as both human & photographer. I never take for granted that you allow me into your story. Every opportunity to witness and capture someone’s moments feels like a gift — one I get to give back to you in the form of images that breathe, linger, and live on.

Photography, to me, is a portal to remembering. It’s the preservation of time in its most honest form. When you choose your photographer, you’re not just checking off a box on a planning list, you’re choosing the person who will hold space for one of the most important days of your life. You’re choosing the eyes that will see you. The hands that will document your legacy. That decision deserves intention. It deserves trust.

telling your story

Photography as a record of time

When i am creating, i see what i am capturing what i witness as if the documentary of these moments is being retold

I become a present observer of your moments, looking in through a window towards the vast landscape of your story.

Story is the glue that connects us to the human experience & photography is the medium that sustains a visual documentation of our past.

We document our lives because:
Photos are impermanent talismans of connection
& There is a story behind every image,
An experience meant to be remembered

Where are we?
What is being felt?
Who is here?
What unique elements tell your story?

“Incredible photographs and even better human being”

"She is truly a wedding photographer who will go above and beyond in every way."

"It's evident how much of her art and product is created with love."

there has always been something ever-so-melancholy about photography to me..

THE MAGIC OF PRESERVING A MOMENT ONLY TO KNOW THAT ITS OVER IN THE SAME INSTANT; WE WILL CEASE TO EXIST AS THE PHOTO LIVES ON ETERNAL... ITS UTTERLY ROMANTIC & YET TRAGICALLY DEVASTATING
